History Makers: G2 Hel’s Triumphant Rise to Liga Nexo!

Look Sports Media – G2 Hel, the all-female League of Legends team affiliated with G2 Esports, has etched their names in history. Their recent promotion to Liga Nexo marks a monumental achievement: they are the first all-female team to reach Tier 2 of a European Regional League (ERL). This groundbreaking victory culminates a remarkable journey showcasing skill, resilience, and unwavering teamwork.

The team, comprising top laner Zeniv, jungler Shiina, mid laner Rym, bot laner Caltys, and support Colomblbl, secured their promotion after a nail-biting 3-2 victory against Dream Makers in the promotion series. Their path to Liga Nexo wasn’t without its challenges. After securing a strong third-place finish in Circuit Tormenta, they first swept aside Sportia Khore 2-0 before facing the daunting task of overcoming a seasoned Tier 2 opponent. Despite dropping the first and third games, G2 Hel displayed incredible composure and strategic prowess, ultimately claiming victory in a thrilling series.

Boasting an astounding 10.27 KDA average throughout the promotion tournament, she showcased impressive champion versatility, utilizing a different champion in each match. Meanwhile, Colomblbl’s exceptional support play, averaging 15.57 assists per game with only three deaths per match, proved instrumental in securing their team’s success.

They are set to compete in Liga Nexo Split 3 and will also participate in the Equal Esports Cup, an official European LoL event for women and non-binary individuals, starting July 1st. Their remarkable achievement is a significant step forward for women in competitive gaming, inspiring future generations of female players and challenging existing norms within the esports landscape.
