Look Sports Media – Omeda Studios has just dropped a bombshell announcement for their MOBA, Predecessor: the return of Paragon’s iconic Agora map. Eleven months after its launch, Predecessor, the spiritual successor to the beloved (and dearly departed) Epic Games title, is bringing back the map that defined a generation of MOBA players. This isn’t just a simple port; Agora has been meticulously rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 for a truly updated experience.
The Agora map will be available for a limited time via the new Legacy Mode in Predecessor LABS, giving both veteran Paragon players a nostalgic trip down memory lane and newcomers a chance to experience the legendary battlefield. This move is a heartfelt tribute from Omeda Studios, founded by Robbie Singh using public Paragon assets after Epic Games shut down the original game in 2018. The studio has even surpassed Paragon’s lifespan, a testament to their dedication and the game’s enduring appeal.

But the 1.7 update is more than just a nostalgic trip. It also introduces Renna, a powerful new mid-lane hero and sister to the recently added Yurei. This dark sorceress, corrupted by an ancient evil and empowered by a pact with the Demon King, wields devastating Riftmagic and grows stronger with each fallen foe. Her unique passive, Echoes of the Damned, allows her to float mid-air, adding a new dimension to her already formidable kit.

The update, slated for release at 12 pm BST on Tuesday, July 22nd, also includes a range of new skins and gameplay fixes. Omeda Studios CEO Robbie Singh stated, "The Paragon community has been incredibly eager for Agora’s return. We’re thrilled to finally bring this to our players for one last time before embarking on a new chapter for Predecessor." This suggests a future where Predecessor will fully forge its own identity, moving beyond its Paragon roots. The addition of Agora serves as a fitting farewell to the past, paving the way for an exciting future. Get ready to revisit the past, and then prepare for what’s next.
