Look Sports Media – NetEase has just dropped a bombshell: the inaugural Marvel Rivals Ignite Grand Finals, boasting a staggering $1 million prize pool, will electrify DreamHack Atlanta this October and November. This announcement follows the conclusion of the regional Stage 2 tournaments, which will determine the twelve elite teams battling for world championship glory. The ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) will host the event, marking a significant milestone for the Marvel Rivals franchise, which launched just last December. This tournament represents the largest individual prize pool in Marvel Rivals history.
The action kicks off with the Group Stage from October 27th to 29th, followed by the Playoffs and Finals at the Georgia World Congress Centre from October 31st to November 2nd. While the exact prize distribution remains under wraps, the sheer scale of the $1,000,000 USD prize pool promises an unforgettable spectacle. The top four teams from the Americas, the top three from EMEA, the top two from both Asia and China, and the top team from Oceania will clash in a fierce competition to claim the title of Marvel Rivals Ignite world champions. The absence of a live crowd during the Group Stage remains to be confirmed.

But Marvel Rivals Ignite isn’t the only heavyweight contender at DreamHack Atlanta. The festival will also host a plethora of other esports events, including the EA FC 26 Pro Open Global Qualifier, the SNK World Championship (featuring Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, The King of Fighters XV, Samurai Shodown, and Art of Fighting 3 with a combined prize pool of $4.1 million), a Counter-Strike 2 ESL Pro League qualifier, and the World Championships for Supercell’s Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, boasting a combined prize pool exceeding $1.2 million. With such a diverse lineup, DreamHack Atlanta is shaping up to be the ultimate esports destination this fall. The event also marks a significant step for DreamHack, with their expansion into the UK market planned for 2026, hosting ESL One Dota 2 in Birmingham.
