Look Sports Media – Excitement is building for Pokémon TCG Pocket players as a massive update looms, promising to shake up the mobile card game. Leaks suggest the arrival of highly anticipated Mega Evolutions, alongside a host of new features and three distinct card packs.
The accidental reveal on the official Japanese Pokémon Pocket page has sent the community into a frenzy. The upcoming "Set B" expansion, potentially titled "Megas Rising," is poised to introduce powerful Mega Evolution cards. Mirroring the "Genetic Apex" set, "Megas Rising" will reportedly feature dedicated packs for Mega Blaziken, Mega Altaria, and Mega Gyarados. These new Mega cards will award three points and an automatic win for killing them, revolutionising the game.

Furthermore, the leak hints at the introduction of Goomy and, presumably, Goodra to the game, as the Pokémon appears in the background of one menu. This addition aligns with the significance of Goodra in Generation VI, the generation that birthed Mega Evolutions.

Eagle-eyed fans have also spotted a new "favorites" button on the packs screen, suggesting players will soon be able to mark their preferred packs. This welcome change will alleviate the frustration of being forced to view the newest pack upon launching the game.
Beyond the leaked content, DeNa has officially announced a series of changes to commemorate Pokémon Pocket’s first anniversary. These updates include the ability to gift a card (ranging from one to four diamonds in rarity) to a friend daily, expanded trading options (including the latest expansion), and the ability to trade cards up to two-star rarity, including shinies. Crown rares and promo cards will remain untradeable.
The Wonder Pick feature is also set to receive significant improvements. Players will now be able to view the number of copies they own of each card directly on the Wonder Pick screen. DeNa has also promised an increased frequency of cards from the latest expansion that players don’t yet own in Wonder Picks. These additions are a welcome step in the right direction.
