The pivotal acquisition for Vitality comes in the mid-lane, with the return of veteran talent Humanoid. After a three-year tenure with Fnatic and a temporary hiatus during the 2025 Summer Split, Humanoid’s re-entry into the competitive scene is a significant statement. This move also marks a highly anticipated reunion with AD Carry Carzzy, rekindling a partnership that previously secured multiple LEC championships during their time together on MAD Lions, with their last collaboration dating back to 2021.
This high-profile signing, however, comes at the cost of Mateusz "Czajek" Czajka, Vitality’s promising mid-lane talent, who has been unexpectedly dropped from the main roster. The playoffs will commence with best-of-three series in the initial two rounds, culminating in best-of-five showdowns for the remainder. The ultimate victor of the playoffs will claim the inaugural LEC Versus championship and secure a coveted berth at the First Stand international competition.
