Pokémon Pocket’s "Fantastical Parade" Unleashes Stadium Mayhem!

Look Sports Media – The Pokémon Pocket universe is about to get a whole lot bigger with the reveal of the "Fantastical Parade" expansion. This update introduces a wave of new cards, including the highly anticipated Stadium cards, bringing a fresh strategic layer to the mobile TCG experience.

While initial speculation pointed towards a Generation 6 focused release with Mega Mawile and Mega Gardevoir taking center stage, "Fantastical Parade" instead delivers an exciting blend of Pokémon from various eras and games. Surprisingly, this expansion will arrive as a single pack, though the exact number of new cards remains a mystery.

The biggest draw of "Fantastical Parade" is undoubtedly the introduction of Stadium cards, a mechanic borrowed from the physical TCG. These powerful cards act as a fourth type of Trainer card, joining Items, Supporters, and Tools. Stadiums come with unique rules, significantly impacting the game for both players. The first Stadium card revealed, Peculiar Plaza, reduces the retreat cost of all Psychic Pokémon by two, instantly shaking up deck-building strategies.

The expansion also brings a host of new Mega and ex cards to the forefront. Mega Gardevoir ex, boasting 210 HP, features a potent attack that deals 110 damage and allows players to redistribute three Psychic energy to their Psychic Pokémon as they see fit. Mega Mawile ex, with 170 HP, has an attack that starts at 60 damage and gains an additional 30 damage for each consecutive use. Teal Mask Ogerpon ex hints at future Ogerpon forms and features an ability that cures status conditions on Pokémon with attached energy, alongside an attack that scales based on the total energy on the field. Mimikyu ex, with 120 HP, can be a strong frontline attacker, negating damage from the first attack it receives after being played.

"Fantastical Parade" also introduces new Supporters, including Diantha, a powerful healer for Psychic Pokémon, Piers, who synergizes with the new Galarian Obstagoon card, and Sightseer, which helps players find Stage 1 Pokémon.

Beyond the cards showcased in the trailer, Maushold and Metal Core Barrier offer intriguing new options. Maushold’s attack scales with the number of Tandemaus and Maushold in play, while Metal Core Barrier provides temporary damage reduction for Steel-type Pokémon. Furthermore, upcoming promo events will feature Mega Medicham EX and Cinderace, adding even more depth to the Pokémon Pocket metagame.

This expansion promises to inject a significant dose of strategy and excitement into Pokémon Pocket, making it a must-have for both casual and competitive players.
