Week 5 of the MPL Indonesia Season 15 Regular Season kicked off with dominant victories from EVOS and GEEK. Both teams swept their opponents 2-0, earning crucial match points that reshuffled the standings.
EVOS looked strong against ONIC Esports in the opening match of Day 1 on Friday (April 25). Branz and his squad displayed solid, objective-focused gameplay that left ONIC unable to gain momentum across both games.
GEEK also notched a clean 2-0 win over NAVI Esports. After a slow start to the season, GEEK is beginning to show its true potential with aggressive and disciplined play, shutting down NAVI in convincing fashion.
With these wins, both EVOS and GEEK now sit at six match points—equaling RRQ Hoshi, who still leads the standings. Their performances have temporarily pushed Bigetron Esports out of the runner-up spot.

Despite climbing into the top three, EVOS and GEEK’s positions are not secure. EVOS will face Bigetron on Day 2 of Week 5, in a decisive match that could see Bigetron reclaim a top-two spot with a win.
GEEK returns to the stage on Day 3 against ONIC Esports. A victory is crucial to keeping their position in the upper half of the table.
Meanwhile, ONIC’s defeat to EVOS drops the reigning champions further down the standings. They currently sit in eighth place with just three match points—narrowly ahead of NAVI, who have yet to secure a single win this season.
RRQ Hoshi, on the other hand, could lose their top position if they fail to earn a full three points against Dewa United Esports. A loss could shake up the standings even further.
With only a few weeks left before playoffs, the competition is heating up. Every match point is now more valuable than ever as teams fight for a spot in the postseason.
