Look Sports Media – UK esports organisation Absolved has dramatically announced its return to the competitive scene, marking a significant comeback after a four-year hiatus. Under new ownership, spearheaded by Jimmy "SinCyn" Knox and Brandon Pickard, Absolved is diving headfirst into the 4 Nations 2025 Summer Promotion, kicking off their League of Legends campaign. This isn’t just a return; it’s a revitalization, with a laser focus on community building and content creation.
Originally founded in 2019 by TJ "Nudo" Harwood and manager Robin "Robinho" Cheng, Absolved previously competed in the NLC and Telia Esports Series before being acquired by X7 Esports in 2021. After X7 ceased operations in late 2022, the organisation remained dormant until this exciting resurgence. Their re-entry into the LoL scene is made possible by acquiring DMG Esports UK’s team slot in the upcoming 4 Nations 2025 Summer Promotion, inheriting their roster in the process. While the current roster will see some changes before the Summer Promotion, Absolved has ambitious plans beyond League of Legends.

Knox, in a statement, highlighted the organisation’s community-centric approach: "Our aim at Absolved is to bring esports to the community through events, tournaments, and content. Competitively, we are aiming to gradually work our way to the top. Starting in League of Legends and expanding into Rocket League, COD, Counter-Strike and many more." This commitment extends beyond online presence; Absolved plans to host regular community nights on their Discord server, fostering a supportive environment and bridging the gap left by the decline of other UK esports events like The Goose House.

Absolved’s strategy also includes a significant investment in content creation. They’re actively supporting up-and-coming UK content creators, starting with Max "mind_of_max" Anderson, who joins the organisation from the beginning. This multi-pronged approach—combining competitive play, community engagement, and content creation—positions Absolved for a strong and sustainable return to the UK esports landscape. Their acquisition of DMG Esports UK’s slot demonstrates their serious intent, and the esports world will be watching closely to see how this ambitious organisation performs.
