Allianz Arena’s Stunning Return? EA FC 26’s Big Stadium Surprise!

Look Sports Media – The footballing world is buzzing with speculation about the potential return of a legendary stadium to the EA Sports FC franchise. Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena, absent from the series since FIFA 19 due to Konami’s licensing deal with eFootball, might be making a triumphant comeback in EA Sports FC 26. This follows an official Konami announcement confirming the termination of their licensing agreement with Bayern Munich, effective June 26th. This means the club name, badge, kits, and, crucially, the Allianz Arena itself, will be removed from eFootball 2025.

With Konami relinquishing these rights, the path seems clear for EA Sports to secure the license in time for EA Sports FC 26. However, the tight timeframe is a concern, especially given recent leaks suggesting an unusually early release date for the next installment. EA Sports FC 25 boasts over 120 authentic stadiums, including 15 Bundesliga grounds, yet notably excludes the Allianz Arena – a glaring omission considering its status as the host of this year’s Champions League final. Since FIFA 20, Bayern have been relegated to the generic Sanderson Park, a stark contrast to the Allianz Arena’s 75,000-seat capacity.

While the inclusion of the Allianz Arena in EA Sports FC 26 remains unconfirmed, its potential return is a tantalizing prospect for fans. The stadium’s stunning visuals would undoubtedly shine on next-gen consoles.

But the Allianz Arena isn’t the only iconic stadium missing from recent EA FC titles. Camp Nou, Europe’s largest stadium, has been absent since FIFA 16 due to Konami’s relationship with Barcelona. Italy’s Serie A has also suffered from licensing issues, with the San Siro (home to AC Milan and Inter) removed after EA FC 24, and the Stadio Olimpico and Stadio Diego Armando Maradona remaining absent. However, with Roma and Napoli signing deals with EA for FC 25, their stadiums are likely to feature in the next game. Even Hampden Park in Scotland, one of the world’s oldest stadiums, has yet to grace an EA title. The question remains: will EA Sports finally secure the licenses needed to bring these legendary venues back into the virtual world of EA Sports FC 26?
