Look Sports Media – Season 27: Amped for Apex Legends is primed to shake up the meta with significant Legend tweaks, map rotations, and weapon adjustments, according to details released by EA and Respawn. Beyond the standard bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, players can anticipate a revitalized gameplay experience with strategic changes to both environment and character abilities.
Map and Weapon Rotations

Season 27 will feature Olympus, World’s Edge, and Storm Point in the map rotation for both public matches and ranked play. Olympus has undergone a significant overhaul, introducing four new Points of Interest (POIs): Somers University (replacing Orbital Cannon), Gravity Engine (replacing Energy Depot), Stabilizer (replacing Docks), and Dockyard. Furthermore, the developers have strategically added more cover to open areas surrounding Phase Driver, Oasis, Clinic, Hammond Labs, and Estates, encouraging more tactical engagements.

Legend Buffs and Nerfs
Valkyrie is receiving a substantial buff aimed at increasing her viability in the current meta. Her VTOL Jets will recharge three times faster, allowing for quicker takeoffs. Her Skyward Dive Ultimate will launch at increased speeds, and her Missile Swarm will no longer inflict self-damage.
Rampart is also undergoing a significant refresh in Season 27. Her Amped Cover will now adapt to gameplay and feature a roof for enhanced shielding. The new "Locked and Loaded" Level 2 Upgrade grants faster reloads and infinite ammo when behind an Amped Cover with an intact shield.
Horizon’s previous nerfs are being partially reversed, with increased lift speed and hover time added to her Gravity Lift. The ability’s cooldown has also been reduced, and the delay before the cooldown starts has been shortened.
Revenant, on the other hand, is receiving a slight nerf, with a decrease to the maximum possible velocity in his Shadow Pounce ability.
