Look Sports Media – British Twitch icon and Los Ratones mastermind, Marc "Caedrel" Lamont, has finally paid the price for his bold wager, sporting a freshly shaved head after T1’s stunning victory at Worlds. The dramatic transformation occurred live on stage during the League Awards 2025, where Caedrel was presenting the winners, adding an unexpected twist to the celebratory event.
The saga began when Caedrel confidently declared he would shave his head if T1, led by Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon, secured the League of Legends World Championship. This bet raised eyebrows, considering T1’s previous dominance with Choi "Zeus" Woo-je and Doran’s past struggles to consistently deliver game-changing performances. However, defying expectations, Faker and T1 achieved a historic three-peat, cementing their legacy with Doran as their new toplaner.
Following the awards ceremony, the moment of reckoning arrived. Caedrel, true to his word, allowed his head to be shaved in front of a live audience and stream. He quipped that anyone with grievances against him now had a golden opportunity. While T1, present for the Red Bull League of Its Own 2025, refrained from participating in the head-shaving spectacle, Faker offered a lighthearted congratulation, stating, "Congratulations on going bald, I think it’s going to look great going into the new year."

The event attracted a queue of eager participants, including popular YouTubers Dumbs and Necrit. Necrit, known for his League of Legends lore content, even kept a lock of Caedrel’s hair as a memento for his collection. Much of the shaving duties were carried out by Los Ratones’ new head coach, Jakob "YamatoCannon" Mebdi, who is set to take over Caedrel’s coaching responsibilities for the 2026 season.
The question now looms: what’s next for Caedrel and Los Ratones? The team enjoyed a remarkable 2025, dominating the NLC with three season wins and claiming two of the three EMEA Masters titles. Their consistent success has earned them an invitation to the prestigious LEC Versus next year. This new tournament, replacing the winter split, will pit Los Ratones against the LEC’s ten teams and EMEA Masters Summer champions Karmine Corp Blue.
With their full roster, including Community Content Creator of the Year, Simon "Baus" Hofverberg, returning, Los Ratones are poised to make a splash in this Tier 1 event. However, their future beyond LEC Versus remains uncertain. While ERL teams participating in LEC Versus can directly enter their region’s playoffs, Caedrel has indicated that Los Ratones will not compete in Tier 2 next year. Whether they will partner with a Tier 1 team or shift their focus solely to content creation is yet to be determined.
