Look Sports Media – The Call of Duty League (CDL) is set to electrify UK fans once again, announcing that DreamHack Birmingham will host Major II of the 2026 season from March 27-29. This marks a triumphant return to British soil after a five-year hiatus, injecting fresh energy into the competitive landscape.
This announcement positions the CDL Major alongside ESL One Birmingham for DotA 2, solidifying DreamHack Birmingham as a premier destination for esports enthusiasts in March. The move is part of a broader strategic overhaul by Activision in anticipation of the release of Black Ops 7, promising a revitalized CDL experience. The 2026 circuit will span across the United States, the UK, France, and even Riyadh for the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, showcasing a truly global competition.

The 2026 season is taking a bold step with international events, including Major II in Birmingham and Major IV in Paris. The remaining marquee events are slated for the United States, with Major I in Dallas, Major III in Atlanta, and the Championship Weekend in Las Vegas.

The CDL calendar will also include two Minor online tournaments during the Major II and Major IV cycles.
Several teams have undergone significant changes for the 2026 season. Atlanta FaZe has rebranded to FaZe Vegas, mirroring Falcons’ move to Riyadh and their subsequent rebranding to Riyadh Falcons. Minnesota RØKKR is now G2 Minnesota, and Toronto Ultra has incorporated their parent company into their branding as Toronto KOI.
Adding to the excitement, Black Ops 7 will introduce a new game mode called "Overload."
