Look Sports Media – The UK esports scene is reeling after the sudden and unexpected closure of EXO Clan, a prominent organization with a history spanning multiple games and regions. The announcement, initially made on social media on May 12th, 2025, sent shockwaves through the community, with fans and former staff expressing disbelief and anger. The situation took a dramatic turn when it was revealed that former owner Kris "Exodus" Partell, and many other staff members, were completely unaware of the impending shutdown. The current CEO, Jack "iJackmc" McPoland, has vanished, deleting his social media accounts and leaving behind a trail of unanswered questions and disgruntled former employees.
EXO Clan, initially based in Oceania before expanding into the Asia-Pacific and European regions, boasted rosters in titles like Apex Legends, Valorant, Counter-Strike, Pokémon Unite, PUBG, and Rocket League. A merger with UTFT in 2023, followed by another with Element 6 in 2024, saw the organization officially registered as a private company in the UK. However, according to Exodus, the promised shared ownership amongst five directors never materialized. Publicly available documents on the UK government website reveal that only iJackmc and Grant "GranticusCya" Aldridge are listed as owners, each holding a 50/50 share.

Exodus claims he was repeatedly denied access to official company documents and was ultimately locked out of the EXO Clan Discord server just before the closure announcement was made. He alleges that iJackmc’s decision to shut down the organization was unilateral and that he was deliberately kept in the dark. This sentiment is echoed by numerous former staff members who took to social media to express their shock and disappointment, many left without warning or compensation. iJackmc’s silence only deepens the mystery surrounding the organization’s abrupt demise.
