Chewbacca & Grievous Arrive! Fortnite’s Delayed Star Wars Update Drops!

Look Sports Media – Fortnite’s mini Star Wars season continues, but the highly anticipated v35.10 update faced a slight delay. Initially slated for May 15th, Epic Games announced a postponement via their official X account, pushing the release to May 16th. The update has now gone live, bringing with it a host of new content for players to explore.

The biggest draw? The legendary Chewbacca himself has joined the fray. Players can now encounter the Wookiee warrior in-game and earn his signature Bowcaster as a reward for their interaction. Adding to the arsenal is the CA-87 Jawa Scatter Blaster, a semi-automatic shotgun boasting infinite ammo, found within chests across the map.

Fortnite’s Competitive Scene Heats Up

With the recent conclusion of the Fortnite Pro-Am, the competitive scene is gearing up for the next major showdown: FNCS Major 3. Scheduled for July, this global event boasts a staggering prize pool exceeding £2.5 million, attracting top players from around the world to compete for regional glory. While the next FNCS Global Championship is set for September, Fortnite’s absence from this year’s Esports World Cup is notable, despite its confirmed participation in the 2024 edition. The anticipation for FNCS Major 3 is palpable, promising intense competition and thrilling gameplay. The stage is set for another chapter in Fortnite’s ever-evolving competitive landscape.
