Gen.G’s GGX: Seoul’s Epic Esports & Lifestyle Hub Opens!

Look Sports Media – Gen.G, the globally renowned esports organization, has unveiled its ambitious new project: Gen.G Gaming Xperience (GGX), a massive lifestyle-focused gaming venue in Seoul, South Korea. Unlike traditional PC bangs, GGX redefines the concept, seamlessly blending high-performance gaming with a vibrant cultural experience. Developed and operated by Superplay, the company behind other successful gaming spaces like the T1 Basecamp Hongdae, GGX is set to redefine the South Korean gaming landscape.

Located near the bustling Dongdaemun district, this 1,570-square-meter haven boasts 252 premium gaming stations, each equipped with top-of-the-line gear: NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPUs, LG UltraGear monitors, Logitech peripherals, and custom Gen.G x SIDIZ gaming chairs. The lightning-fast Korean internet ensures a lag-free experience for every player. Opening its doors on June 21st, GGX is poised to attract both local enthusiasts and international tourists, especially given Gen.G’s global presence and its LCK team’s participation in MSI 2025.

Beyond the gaming stations, GGX offers a comprehensive experience. A spacious community lounge, capable of hosting up to 100 people, will be the epicenter of watch parties, fan meetups, and branded events. With Gen.G being a strong MSI contender, these watch parties are expected to be incredibly popular. A dedicated merchandise store showcases Gen.G’s LCK player jerseys, exclusive team merchandise, and products from major gaming brands like Riot Games, Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox.

GGX also elevates the gaming experience through its collaboration with Gen.G Global Academy (GGA). Former pro players will conduct coaching programs and classes, offering valuable insights into game analysis, aim training, and team-based strategies. Adding to the atmosphere, a food and beverage lounge, co-developed with Otoki, and a photo opportunity with GenRang, Gen.G’s mascot, complete the immersive experience.

“GGX goes beyond just gaming; it’s a cultural hub,” explains Steve Lee, Gen.G’s Head of Partnerships. “Through spaces like this and continued innovation, Gen.G aims to lead the sustainable growth of the esports industry.” With its blend of cutting-edge technology, community engagement, and cultural immersion, GGX is not just a gaming venue; it’s a destination.
