Look Sports Media – The Insomnia Gaming Festival is set to ignite the competitive spirit in the UK as Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) and Valorant tournaments are confirmed for the highly anticipated i74 event. Scheduled to take place at the Staffordshire County Showground from April 30th to May 3rd, 2026, the festival promises a thrilling showcase of esports talent.
Insomnia Gaming Festival organizers have officially announced that both CS2 and Valorant will be featured titles at the UK-based gaming and esports extravaganza. Sixteen teams will battle it out in each tournament, vying for a share of the £3,000 prize pool. While the stakes are high, details regarding whether the CS2 event will contribute to the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) remain unconfirmed. Notably, FURIA recently dominated the December VRS standings, surpassing Team Falcons, following their impressive victories at the Thunderpick World Championship, IEM Chengdu 2025, and Blast Rivals Fall 2025.

Both CS2 and Valorant were crowd-pleasers at the previous Insomnia Gaming Festival, I73, held in 2024. However, the prize pool has seen a slight reduction from the £5,000 offered for each tournament at I73. In contrast, Insomnia 72 featured a dedicated female Valorant tournament with a substantial £9,775 prize pool.
