Look Sports Media – For the first time ever, the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) will offer a prize unlike any other. The 2025 tournament, bringing the top two teams from each region to Vancouver, Canada, for a shot at international glory and a guaranteed Worlds spot, will now also award the winning team with their own dedicated LoL skin bundles.
For years, only the League of Legends World Championship winners have received the coveted honor of having their own in-game skins, a prize that includes a percentage of the skin’s earnings. This tradition, broken only by Uzi’s Hall of Legends induction and accompanying premium skins, is now expanding to MSI.
Riot Games has announced that the MSI 2025 champions will receive multiple discounted skin bundles featuring the champions they played in the grand finals. One bundle will include every skin used by the team, while others will offer even steeper discounts on individual player or role-specific bundles. Thanks to the Fearless Draft format, guaranteeing unique champion picks per player each game, these bundles could contain anywhere from 15 to 25 skins! Riot has yet to reveal details regarding revenue sharing for these bundles or how extremely expensive premium skins, such as Faker’s $500 Ahri skin, will be handled.

Adding to the excitement, MSI 2025 will also introduce Pick’Ems for the first time. This popular prediction competition, a staple of the World Championships, will now give MSI viewers a chance to win in-game prizes. While the prizes haven’t been revealed yet, the significantly smaller field of 10 teams compared to Worlds’ 28, should make perfect predictions more attainable. The tournament kicks off June 27th, and we expect more details on the Pick’Ems prizes soon. This year’s MSI is shaping up to be a truly unforgettable event.
