Look Sports Media – A seismic shift may be brewing in the League of Legends pro scene, as a report from Sheep Esports indicates that Alan "Busio" Cwalina is poised to depart FlyQuest and potentially make his LEC debut. The support player is heavily linked with a move to the French powerhouse Karmine Corp, a transfer that would sting for North American League of Legends fans.
While Busio holds dual citizenship with the United States and Poland, his League of Legends journey is deeply rooted in North America. He emerged from the NA amateur circuit during the pandemic as a mid-laner, catching the eye of 100 Thieves, who brought him into their 100 Next program. After proving his mettle, he quickly ascended through the ranks, joining 100T’s Academy team and eventually earning a promotion to the LCS roster in December 2022. His subsequent move to FlyQuest in November 2023 solidified his status as a rising NA star.

The potential loss of Busio has ignited a flurry of reactions, with EU fans playfully teasing their NA counterparts, suggesting they now understand the feeling of having homegrown talent poached by another region. This comes after FlyQuest’s previous acquisitions of European stars like Gabriël "Bwipo" Rau and Kacper "Inspired" Słoma, a trend that now appears to be reversing, following Joseph "Jojopyun" Pyun’s transfer to MKOI.

With the League of Legends roster shuffle season just beginning, further transatlantic moves could be on the horizon.
The report also sheds light on the widespread roster changes being pursued by various teams. Karmine Corp, in particular, is actively seeking a mid-laner to complete their lineup. LYON, who reportedly missed out on signing Busio, are also rumored to be targeting Inspired, Bill "Eyla" Nguyen, and Brandon Joel "Josedeodo" Villegas. Shopify Rebellion allegedly attempted to acquire Busio as well, potentially replacing Denilson "Ceos" Oliveira Gonçalves.
FlyQuest faces a significant challenge in replacing Busio, especially considering that Bwipo is also rumored to be departing. Retaining Inspired, their star jungler, becomes a top priority. However, with numerous teams vying for his services, FlyQuest must convince him that they can provide the environment and resources he needs to succeed, particularly after their disappointing performance at Worlds 2025. The question remains: can FlyQuest offer Inspired what he desires to stay?
