Rodri’s 90 Rating? EA FC 26 Leak Sparks Outrage!

The alleged top 50 players (excluding Icons) and their Ultimate Team cards have surfaced, revealing some surprising – and controversial – rankings. Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappé lead the men’s pack at a 91 rating, while Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmatí top the women’s charts with identical scores. England’s Alessia Russo is the sole Lioness in the top 50, boasting an 89 rating. Harry Kane, with 37 goals for Bayern Munich last season, is England’s highest-rated male player, also at 89.

However, it’s the rating of one particular player that has sent shockwaves through the gaming world: Rodri. Despite a significant injury-hit season, the 2024 Ballon d’Or winner maintains a 90 rating – a mere one-point drop. This places him alongside the likes of Ousmane Dembélé, Virgil van Dijk, Erling Haaland, and Jude Bellingham, sparking outrage amongst fans who feel the rating doesn’t reflect his limited playing time.

Further fueling the controversy, Kevin De Bruyne finds himself surprisingly low on the list, downgraded to an 87. Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence from Ultimate Team walkouts, with an alleged 85 rating, and Lionel Messi’s slightly higher 86 rating, add to the debate. A three-way tie for the top goalkeeper spot exists between Thibaut Courtois, Alisson Becker, and Gianluigi Donnarumma, all rated at 89.

Beyond the individual ratings, EA Sports has boasted that EA FC 26 will feature over 20,000 players across 750 clubs and numerous new stadiums, including Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium.
