Look Sports Media – The annual Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) marathon, a beloved spectacle in the speedrunning community, has unveiled its 2025 schedule. From July 6th to 13th, the Hilton Hotel in Minneapolis will once again host this week-long charity event, promising a non-stop thrill ride of record-breaking attempts. This year’s event will benefit Doctors Without Borders, a charity providing crucial humanitarian medical aid globally.
Following the tradition of previous years, SGDQ 2025 will be a 24/7 stream showcasing the world’s most skilled speedrunners tackling a diverse roster of games. The lineup is stacked with exciting runs, culminating in a highly anticipated all-chapters playthrough of Deltarune, Toby Fox’s acclaimed RPG sequel to Undertale – a bold choice considering chapters three and four won’t be released until a month before the event itself.

This year’s event promises a strong showing from UK and Irish talent. Viewers can potentially witness a world-record attempt by the British duo ZackInTheBox and Jambo, who aim to conquer Super Mario Odyssey co-op, pending the fulfillment of a donation incentive. Irish speedrunner Bree12am will also be competing in Neon White, a fast-paced puzzle-shooter where she already holds three world records. Other British runners confirmed include SaundersTech (Okami), Drakodan (Astro Boy: Omega Factor), ApacheSmash (Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater), and Punchy (Ao Ani).
