T1 Shock: Peyz Returns to LCK, Aiming for Dynasty!

Look Sports Media – In a blockbuster move that has sent ripples through the League of Legends competitive scene, T1 has officially announced the acquisition of Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan. The prodigal son returns to the LCK after a year-long stint in the LPL, signing a long-term contract that will keep him with the organization until 2028.

The 19-year-old, already a decorated champion with MSI and LCK titles under his belt, is tasked with filling the void left by the departure of legendary ADC Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong. The pressure is on as T1 sets its sights on an unprecedented fourth consecutive World Championship title.

With Peyz’s arrival, T1’s updated roster signals a new era for the organization. Fans are already coining the acronym "DOFPK" to represent the lineup, marking a departure from the iconic "ZOFGK" era.

Peyz’s signing follows the confirmation of Doran’s re-signing, solidifying T1’s roster for the upcoming season. Despite securing a historic three-peat at Worlds, T1 only managed to lift the Worlds trophy last year, with HLE and Gen.G dominating the domestic LCK titles. The team is hungry for a strong start as the LCK resumes in 2026.

T1 has secured one of the most promising talents in the LCK. At just 17, Peyz became the youngest bot laner to win an LCK title, leading Gen.G to victory in the 2023 Spring Playoffs.

His trophy cabinet boasts numerous accolades from 2023 and 2025, including a clean sweep of the LCK splits in 2023 and an MSI title in 2024. However, Peyz couldn’t break Gen.G’s Worlds curse, a burden he now hopes to transfer to his former team.

Peyz’s decision to leave Gen.G came after their disappointing semi-final exit at Worlds 2024, where they were defeated by none other than T1. After a brief stint with JD Gaming in the LPL, where he struggled to find domestic success and missed Worlds 2025, Peyz is eager to return to the LCK and prove his mettle.

Back in the LCK, Peyz will have the opportunity to play alongside Ryu "Keria" Min-seok, widely regarded as one of the most mechanically gifted Supports in the history of League of Legends.

T1 clearly believes in the potential of this pairing, offering Peyz a long-term contract that rivals even Faker’s legendary commitment to the organization, which extends until at least 2029.

In his message to fans, Peyz expressed his excitement about joining T1: "Hello. I’m Peyz, and I’ve just joined T1 as the new bot laner. I’m really excited to begin this new chapter with new teammates at T1. I’ll do my best to show great performances in this upcoming season. Thank you."
