The team from EMEA secured the lion’s share of the $1 million prize pool, walking away with $320,000 after defeating fellow EMEA contenders Natus Vincere (NAVI) with a decisive 4-1 score in the grand final held at DreamHack Atlanta.

Prior to the Marvel Rivals Ignite event, Virtus.pro were widely regarded as a top contender, if not the outright favorite. Their impressive track record included victories at the EMEA Season 1 Championship, the EMEA Invitational, and a staggering 12 European Rivals Fight Night events.

Despite the setback, Virtus.pro demonstrated resilience and bounced back to win Stage 2 in EMEA. They then embarked on an extraordinary run at the Grand Finals, showcasing their dominance with an unblemished 5-0 record in the Group Stages and an undefeated streak in the Upper Bracket.

After their flawless Group Stage performance, Virtus.pro carried their momentum into the Playoffs, defeating Americas Stage 2 champions 100 Thieves with a 2-1 score. They continued their dominance, sweeping NAVI 2-0 and FlyQuest 3-0 en route to the grand final.
NAVI, meanwhile, fought their way through the Lower Bracket, eliminating ChopperMag, 100 Thieves, and FlyQuest to earn a rematch against Virtus.pro.
However, in the final showdown, Virtus.pro once again proved their superiority, securing a 4-1 victory in the best-of-seven series.
